Welcome to the Washington Elementary School Web Page

The Washington School Office will be closed for Summer break starting Monday, June 15, 2015.

  • We will be back and ready to assist with registration and questions starting Wednesday, August 19 from 7:30-3:30 daily.

  • School starts for grades 1-6 on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

  • Kindergarten will be on a different schedule.

    • Contact the school office for further details.

      Back to School Night will be held on September 23rd from 5:30-7:00 p.m.  This will replace the "meet and greet" that usually takes place in August.
      • Class Lists will be posted on the main office front door on September 3rd after 3:30 p.m.
      • Class begins at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8.  Breakfast will be available from 7:25-7:50 a.m.  Students in grades 1-6 will be dismissed at 2:35  (1:00 on Wednesday.)

Washington Elementary School is a learning community dedicated to high learning standards by recognizing studentsí unique needs and strengths through;

School Colors: Blue and White

Grades: K-6 Enrollment: 425 Staff: 35

Student Transportation: Washington is a non-bussing school. Students walk, ride bikes, or are transported by car.

Middle School and High School Attendance Areas: After finishing sixth grade, Washington students attend McLoughlin Middle School and then South Medford High School.

Head Start: Located within Washington School.  Please contact Southern Oregon Head Start at 541-734-5150 or information on enrolling your 3 or 4 year old.


school Based Health Center AKA Kids Health Connection:  Washington Elementary is very fortunate to have an on-site clinic that can see your students for minor medical issues. Students must have parent consent to be seen by the the medical staff.  Payment is based on several factors.  Please call the health center for more information.
